HydroShield S
Hephaestus HydroShield S is a floating fire pump kit built on the 7HP HydroShield pump, which is rated 758 L/min at 2 bar. The pump sits in the pool or the tank rather than beside it, so there is no suction hose to lay, no lift to lose and no priming step to get wrong. The pump is the base and every other part is optional.

Pool kit · 7HP floating
The pump floats in the pool. No suction hose, no suction lift, no priming.
HydroShield S is built around the HydroShield floating pump, which ships with a 20 m HydroLine hose and a basic nozzle. The pump sits in the water rather than beside it. HazeGuard is an optional upgrade.
The pump is the base and every other part is optional. The tripod that holds the cannon is delivered in Cyprus only. Nothing is discounted and nothing is bundled: each part is its own list price.

Why HydroShield S works.
What you get
Built around the pump
Drop it in and start it. Put it in the water and pull the cord. There is no priming step, which is the part that goes wrong under pressure.
Nothing to lose to suction lift. A pump beside the water spends part of its head pulling water up to itself. This one does not, because it is already in it.
A nozzle you can set. HazeGuard has five collar positions from a straight stream to fog.
Grow it when you want to. Add the AquaTitan cannon and the tripod to cover ground with nobody holding a hose.
Everything connects. One coupling standard on the delivery side: 2.5″ British Instantaneous, with nothing to adapt and nothing extra to buy.
What the kit is for.
Before the fire arrives
Three scenarios where this kit earns its place
In a fire, call 112 first
This equipment is not a substitute for the fire service. Wet down the house, deck, furniture and surrounding vegetation before the fire arrives, then evacuate when conditions are unsafe or when you are told to. Never stay to fight a fire front.
In the box
The pump’s box, and what each option adds
HydroShield’s box is the same box the pump ships in on its own, and it arrives whatever else you tick. Each option you add comes in its own box.

Questions and answers
HydroShield S FAQ
The questions buyers ask us about this kit.
Safety first, and read this one
Always follow official instructions. If the authorities tell you to evacuate, or if conditions become unsafe, leave immediately. Property can be replaced and you cannot.
What water source can I use?
A swimming pool, a water tank, a cistern or any other stored water on the property. The more water you have, the longer you can work.
How fast will it drain my pool or tank?
At full flow, minutes of running is roughly your water volume in litres divided by 758 L/min. A 50,000 litre pool is about 66 minutes at full flow, and longer whenever you are not at maximum output.
Should I run it continuously or in bursts?
Most properties are best protected in short soaking cycles: wet the key zones, pause, repeat. It makes the water go further and keeps surfaces wet as conditions change.
What should I soak first?
The ignition points and the envelope of the house: roof edges and eaves, gutters, decks and pergolas, fences and shrubs close to the building, and the access routes and perimeter lines where embers collect.
Can this pump run a water cannon?
Yes, the AquaTitan cannon, on its standard 16 mm nozzle. HydroShield drives it in the lower part of the cannon’s range. The radius depends on the pressure at the cannon: tell us about your property and we will work it through with you.
Can it run two lines at once?
HydroShield is built for volume at low pressure rather than for splitting a line, so this kit runs one line at a time.
Can the system be left running on its own?
Only with the cannon on it. The AquaTitan turns on its own water, so once the pump is running it keeps soaking with nobody holding a hose. With the hose line alone, someone has to hold the nozzle.
It cannot be started, stopped or adjusted from a distance: someone starts it by hand at the pump. Make sure the setup is stable, ventilated and safe before you leave it running.
What about debris in pool or tank water?
Keep the intake clear. HydroShield floats and draws straight from the water under it, so there is no suction hose to lay and nothing to prime. What matters is where it sits: keep it off the bottom so it is not lifting silt, and keep leaves and debris away from the float so nothing collects against the intake.
What should I test before fire season?
Run a full practice session: placement and stability, the start-up procedure, the spray direction and the coverage, and a timed fuel and water check so you know the runtime on your own property.
What is in the kit, and what is optional?
The pump. Everything else on this page is an add-on you choose: take none of them, take one, or take all of them. The price you see is the total of what you tick.
Does it come assembled?
The parts ship as parts and connect by hand. Every delivery hose and outlet in the kit is 2.5″ British Instantaneous, so the connections snap together with a quarter-turn lock, no tools.
Can I add to it later?
Yes. Nothing in the kit is matched to a serial number: an AquaTitan or a tripod bought next year fits the pump you buy today.
What warranty and delivery apply?
Each part carries its own warranty, which is on the Warranty page, and delivery is as the Shipping & Returns section on this page sets out.
Can you help me plan a full setup?
Yes, and it is the part we are most useful for. Send us the property, the water source and what you are trying to protect, either through the form below or on WhatsApp, and we will tell you what we would put on it.
