Engineered systems

Designed first.
Built to hold the line.

Permanently installed wildfire protection, engineered from your architect’s drawings by licensed consultants, then built, commissioned and maintained by the team that protects its own village with the same equipment.

Villas, estates, farms and commercial sites across Cyprus and the EU.

Why we start with drawings

A fixed system is infrastructure, not a product you unbox.

Concrete bases, protective enclosures, buried pipework, water sources, power. We treat it the way your architect treats your house. The design comes first, and it stands on its own.

That means a licensed mechanical engineering consultant works from your architectural drawings before anyone quotes a single component. You end up with a system sized to your property and your water, not to a catalogue.

We install the same equipment we used on our own street in Souni. That is the standard we design to.

How we work

1
Site survey
We review the location by GPS pin and satellite before we arrive, then walk the property with you and, wherever possible, your architect. Water sources, levels, access, structures, vegetation.
2
Design and engineering
A licensed mechanical engineering consultant specifies the full installation: pump station, base and enclosure, pipework routing, water source and hydraulics. You receive a professional design document set, yours to keep.
Dedicated stage
3
Full proposal
Built on completed engineering, not estimates. Every component, every meter of pipe, every stage of work, priced accurately because the design work has been done.
4
Build and project management
Our consultant coordinates the contractor and oversees the installation through to engineering sign off. Hephaestus supplies the equipment and commissions the system.
5
Handover and operation training
Your household or facility team is trained on the complete system in person. You know exactly what to do before you ever need to do it.
6
Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance keeps pumps, lines and cannons ready season after season. A protection system is only as good as its readiness on the day.

Stage one is a site survey, and it is where every project starts.

Drawings you can build from

Every engineered system is documented the way serious infrastructure is documented. Not a sketch, a professional set your architect and contractor can work from directly.

Systems we have designed and built

Every property gets a different answer. What stays the same is the method: drawings first, engineering second, equipment last.

Three cannons, one hillside

A residence surrounded by pine forest on every side, with a swimming pool as the only water on site. The engineering put three long range cannons around the structure, fed from one pump through buried pipework, so the house and the ground it stands on can be soaked without anyone holding a hose.

Long range water cannon soaking the pine forest slope beside a hillside residence in Cyprus
Coverage into the tree line
The forest is the threat, so the cannons are aimed to wet it, not only the walls.
Water cannon spraying across the pool terrace of a hillside residence with mountains behind
The pool is the reservoir
Eighty cubic metres on site, drawn through a buried suction line to the pump.
Fixed water cannon covering the terrace and surrounding pine forest at a Cyprus hillside property
No one holding a hose
Once the pump is started, the heads keep soaking on their own with nobody holding a hose, so the household can get on with what matters. The system is started and stopped by hand at the pump.
Hephaestus branded protective cover on a fixed water cannon standing on its concrete pad in pine forest
Ready before the season starts
Covered on its fixture between seasons, uncovered and pressurised when the risk arrives.

Cannons suit an exposed hillside plot. Other properties call for roofline sprinklers, hose stations, or all three on one network. The engineering decides the configuration, never the catalogue.

What would your property need?

Send the location and the water you have on site. We will tell you what is realistic before anyone prices a component.

Powered by the right pump

The design selects the pump.
Never the other way around.

Flow, pressure and runtime come out of the hydraulic calculations. Only then do we choose the machine that meets them.

Petrol pump systems
Electric start workhorses to 1,500 L/min, off grid and independent of mains power. The core of most residential systems.
Diesel pump systems
Heavy duty cycles for estates, facilities and systems that need to keep running for long periods once they are started. Every system is started and stopped by hand at the pump.
High pressure systems
For elevation, long pipe runs and water mist applications, where pressure matters more than volume.
Hardware meets software

Your system, and the warning before it

Hephaestus Fire Monitor watches 37 countries by satellite and tells you the distance, intensity and direction of wildfire near your property, while there is still time to act.

An engineered system is the response. Fire Monitor is the head start.

Tell us about the property and where the project stands. Every engineered system starts with a survey, never with a quote, so the first conversation is about what is realistic on your site.

It helps to know your water source and capacity, whether architect drawings already exist, and whether an engineer is engaged.
